Week 1
Week one of 1/2 marathon training was fairly easy going. It just called for a 3-2-3-4 which I modified a bit since I had Race to Taste on the weekend day. Race to taste was fun and I tied my PR which was somewhat unexpected as I'm far less trained right now than I was when I set that in 2006 smack in the middle of marathon training!
So here's how it all worked out...
6/23: 3.12 miles - route 14 loop (9:45 pace)
6/24: 2.0 miles - track and back (9:26 pace)
6/27: 3.08 miles - route 14 loop (10:13 pace)
6/29: 3.1 miles - race to taste 5k (8:44 pace)
Total: 11.28 (goal 12)
